Last-minute Villa Vacation in Tuscany

 

Hi Kathy -

We just wanted to send you a note to thank you for planning an amazing trip for us.

Everything was great. We loved the villa - such an amazing view. We also loved the guided tours of both Siena (Roberta was terrific) and Florence (Sally was so knowledgeable and passionate about the art), Federico (the wine guy) in Siena, the boat tour (Simone) to Portovenere and the vineyard tour at the castle (Chiara was so nice). 

We especially loved the cooking class with Eleonora and her daughter, Livia (so many laughs with them and amazing food)! 

And our villa chefs were terrific as well - great food and super nice and accommodating. 

But as you can imagine, the highlight of the trip was our time with Francesco. His love of life, sense of humor, knowledge of the area and relationships with everyone made our trip so memorable. He has an ability to put you at ease and relax and make you laugh. As he would say many times, “it’s ok, no stress, you are on vacation” and “don’t worry, it’s 2 minutes away” made us completely relaxed and let us enjoy the vacation even more than we thought. 

By the way, Giampiero was fantastic - the early morning drive to Interlaken for Annabell was awesome (we knew we were in safe hands with him driving her). 

So we are sad to be going home, but we know we will be back. 

Thank you for everything you did - especially on short notice - as it really created an amazing family trip and a great way to kick off Annabell’s trip throughout Europe with her friends (which fortunately for her allowed her to see more of Italy)!
