Family Trip - From Florence, through Tuscany, to Positano

Hi Kathy,

I was putting away some of my notes from Italy and realized I never really followed up. We had a wonderful time!! Even with that extra heat, it was the trip of a lifetime.  

We will be returning to you in a few years when we can get back over there as a couple and not a family! Overall everything was truly amazing.

For Siena, Roberta our tour guide there was so so fantastic! We loved her.

Our Florence tour guide was very informed and especially well versed on David. We enjoyed walking the streets and just hearing her facts about them. I love the little old wine doors on the back of the great homes.

We loved Positano and the private day boat ride was absolutely great. We snorkeled and swam and hit the blue grotto early, but we were encouraged to skip getting off in Capri because of tourists.

The Herculaneum guide was informative. You definitely need a guide there to get the history and facts because it’s really amazing, so I am glad we had one.

The high season factor - traffic in Amalfi and up to Ravello made that 1/2 day trip feel a little rushed.  

We so enjoyed meeting you when you came to see us at the Olive Oil estate.  

It’s a beautiful country you live in.
